    Excellent lightweight poles.

I bought these piles for a hiking trip and found them easy to assemble. They were a welcomed advantage. We hiked 2 miles uphill and down. I had a friend on the hike who had no poles, so I shared one with her. We may not have made it without them. One word of advice: Tighten the hand screw on the lock tight clip a tiny bit if the pole length slips.

  2. CK

Sturdy, lightweight, perfect size for backpack

I love that these collapse into the perfect size for fitting in an average size backpack or carry on bag, so you don’t have to check luggage on the plane. These are extremely easy to use…just be sure to read the instructions first. Once expanded, they feel very sturdy and solid, while still being very lightweight. The handle grips are ergonomic and comfortable. I love that these poles are height adjustable. Beware of others you might come across which are telescoping or collapsible — that does NOT necessarily mean that they are height adjustable….but these are.

    Lightweight and stable

These poles worked great for my trip to Alaska. I use them for walking support with the “foot” base and at the shortest length (I am 5’3). They are a bit tricky to put together, but once you see how they go (lots of videos), they are easy to assemble and break down. They take up very little space in my backpack and TSA allowed them through. Trekking feet would be nice to have. I would recommend these trekking poles.

  4. Chris Chen

    Easy storage

The order came super fast because we got the free one day shipping. I’m planning to use it when we go hike up mt. Fuji this July, but I’ll definitely test it out on a few local hikes first. The collapsed length is around just about from my finger tips to my elbow, very easy to fit in backpacks or carry-on luggage.

    Worth it!

I have never purchased or used trekking poles before. My two best friends and I were planning on going on a backpacking trip and they were both going to buy some trekking poles. I kind of scoffed and thought they were silly. But then I read about why someone might use trekking poles and decided to purchase these. I am so glad I did. I used them for the entire trip. The first day was a little awkward, because I was getting used to how they worked, but after that, they truly became like extra legs. Well worth the price.

    Surprisingly sturdy and useful

I have a bad knee (skiing accident in 1978) and use a knee brace and a pair of Leki trekking poles for longer walks. Having to travel cross country on a trip I bought these to save my knee with something I could put into a suitcase. They work very well. Sturdy and rigid enough, easy to pack and assemble. Probably not as sturdy as my 20 year old Leki poles but perfectly adequate. Well worth the $20 price.

    Great Product and Moderately Priced

I love to hike but have some issues that makes it difficult at times. I purchased these poles before an extended camping/hiking trip and used them for the first time. They were a game changer. I was able to hike longer and further than I have for several years. They are light weight, easy to assemble & adjust, and held up very well. When collapsed, they take up very little space and have their own carrying case.

    Trek Poles for Travel

Got these for my wife and I for the many hikes we intend to go on in the future. The main reason we got these was for their portability as we could easily stow these in not only our large checked luggage, but even in our smaller carry-on baggage. But what pleasantly surprised us beyond the portability aspect was how well made the poles were, and how easy it is to construct and break down the poles. In summary, the Covacure trekking poles are top notch when it comes to portability, quality, and innovation. All that remains is how they will perform when we actually get out there and hike over the next few weeks.

    They worked and didn’t collapse

I have hiking poles….but they were too long for the suitcase I wanted to take on an overseas trip. I bought these because they were cheap, light and small. They worked great for me. At first I thought one was sliding, but I figured out how to easily tighten it when it was uncollapsed. They are so light, I thought they might fail, but they didn’t. For hiking around near home I’ll use my old REI poles, but I’m happy with these on this trip and look forward to taking them on subsequent trips.

  10. C. Jordan

    Awesome for the price

I’m 6′ with a +2 ape index and my poles never went above 120…so I got some 120s as well and they are shorter than the 130s collapsed if anyone cares.Great sturdy poles even for brutal hiking (steep scree fields etc). I use them mostly just going up. I did break a pole down climbing in the dark something that wouldn’t be considered hiking use by any stretch of the word. So I bought another pair and now I have a set of nun chicks and 3 trekking poles. Would buy a 3rd set if I had to. The way my last pole broke I don’t think a carbon pole would have even survived.

  11. David Keck

    Great for the price

These are low-cost hiking poles, so it would be unfair to compare them to more expensive Black Dimond that you pay 3 times as much for. They are light weight and after looking at the enclosed directions I was able to assemble them without any problem. Once assembled, they are sturdy and do their job. I will comment that the description indicates that these are anti-shock; however, I don’t see anything in the way they are made that would provide anti-shock like my Black Dimond poles do.

    Good stick

I bought two sets one for my husband and me to share and one for our friends to share. We did some light hiking in North Carolina and we’ve never used sticks before for our hikes and we were thrilled and how well they work and how light they are and how much it really does help for uneven steps. We’re on our late 50s and early 60s and this little extra bit of confidence helps us really enjoy the time outside. I like how they fold a d have a carrying case. Highly recommend.

  13. Ronupc

    Worked out great!

I like that these are easily collapsible. They are different than the ones I used for the past 3 years: Most telescope like an antenna and twist to lock; these have a cable that runs the length and it takes a couple of minutes to figure out. They are sturdy (good my old ones bent during a fall, so this is important). They stand behind their product: one of mine arrived with a small defect — they put a new set in the mail right away! Three hikes so far and they are good to go. One critical comment: please enlarge the instructions – I had to use a magnifying glass to read them. Great price!

    Sturdy Trekking Poles

I purchased these Trekking Poles for my wife and I to help our stability on some aggressive mountain hiking. We found them to be sturdy and exactly what we were looking for in trekking poles. They are also collapsible and store away nicely.

  15. Marilyn

Excellent Quality, Sturdy, Lightweight and Simple to Pack a Best Value

Wife and I purchased these poles to take with us for a month long stay in Maine where we would be walking daily along wooded trails and doing some almost serious hiking in the State Parks. The Covacure poles never failed us. The poles were just the right size and fit in our luggage. They snapped together in seconds and out on the trails never failed once. They are fully adjustable and can accommodate everyone. We received many comments on them and several folks took pics and inquired about their availability. Excellent product and a great value.

  16. Graham Thomson

Solid cheap trekking poles for travel

Purchased these to bring on a trip to Hawaii to do a lot of hiking. Didn’t want to bring my expensive carbon poles because I knew they’d get beat up in the checked bag. I put over 80 miles of hiking on these things in 3 weeks with our son on my back in an Osprey Poco child carrier and had no complaints. I’m sure they’d bend/break if you tried but they were very solid and compact for the price. Def recommend if you’re looking for a cheap and compact set of poles.

    Burn more calories!

This is my first pair of walking poles. I wanted to make my daily morning walks more effect and also to improve my walking posture. I am really happy to see that I now burn more calories ( Fitbit reading) and improving my posture.I have been using these daily for 3 weeks and worn out my flat surface walking pole insert. I need a new pair of those ! Not sure where to order that from and if it will be the right fit.Highly recommend getting these ,if you are still haven’t made up your mind.UPDATE:Covacure sent me several pairs of extra pole tips since I had worn out one set. And I did not even have to pay for them.Great customer care . Thank you so much,

  18. Jayann

Easy to fold and compact for traveling

I’m a low impact hiker; just needed something to help with stability on uneven surfaces and going down hill. These poles were just what I needed for a trip to Hawaii: they folded up nicely in their own bags, fit in my suitcase and day pack when I didn’t need them, held up very well on uneven lava fields, and were lightweight and sturdy.

  19. A. French

A well-made, collapsible walking stick worth every penny!

When planning a trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, I noted that a walking stick was advised. We bought two, each of using our own daily. Even my husband, who rarely comments on an item, said how great his was, hiking on a lot of uneven ground. The collapsible design allowed us to check them in our luggage. We continue to take them with us with each trip we take, just in case we need them.

  20. Michael S.

    Compact and reliable

I have used these for about a year now, on many many day and over-night backpacking trips. These are my go to trekking poles now. I have several other brands, some you might find at Academy or other locations and I still prefer these.I love that they are compact and although they aren’t the lightest, they are certainly strong enough to assist me. I am about 6′, 300lbs and I am comfortable with the construction of these poles. Would recommend and I have recommended them to others.

  21. Ritaban S.

    It was great ! 👍

We used these poles for our hikes in Yosemite National park . Without these poles reaching the Vernal and Nevada falls would have been extremely difficult. The poles had a great grip and was very comfortable to use . Assembling and reassembling them was a kid’s job . They were great ! Would highly recommend them . 👍👍

  22. Jonathan Lee

Easy to expand and fold, and very sturdy

I really like the design of these poles and the needs that they fill. Only the most hardcore multi-day treks would need something higher-end than these (something with shock absorption and lower weight). For everything else, these foldable poles are perfect. Other expandable poles use a screw mechanism to tighten them at your desired length, but that design can loosen over time. What I like about these poles is the locking mechanism similar to a camping tent. Once it’s expanded, there’s no way it will collapse. In the higher section of the poles above the locking mechanism is the typical adjustable arm to customize the final height.

  23. Stephen Peele

    Rugged and adaptable

These are really great walking poles. We needed something we could use for long walks and they work really well and the product is also rugged and durable. We love the different tips, the case, and the ability to collapse them and store them in the trunk so they are ready when we need them.

  24. Mr. C.

Aids in stability and boosts confidence

I have to give these 5 stars, not because they are the best out there (they may or may not be, I don’t know) but because after giving these to my wife she had the confidence to walk up and down hills, over rocks, and rough terrain without fear of falling. She has gone places on hikes that she would never before consider which has allowed her to enjoy more fully God’s wonderful creation. I should have done this decades ago.

  25. Sheli Carr

So light, space-saving, and sturdy, I bought two sets!

I purchased one set of these trekking poles when my boyfriend and I decided to up our hiking game to more difficult terrain. Setup is simple even on the go, they are sturdy (I’m not a lighweight!), and I love that they fold up and have their own bags so when I put them away after a hike, my backpack or car isn’t getting dirt all over before I get a chance to clean them. I anticipate these getting a lot of use in the White Mountains of NH. I highly recommend these poles for anyone who hikes!

    covacure light weight trekking poles

The product looks great. Have not tried it out yet but will this summer in Switzerland! I like these because of all the new rules flying they will fit in a small backpack or suitcase and a perfect weight and size when hiking if only needed on occasion, they can fit in your backpack but not weigh you down. I like the 3 different tips that come with it for all terrains. They are easy to put together and take apart in minutes. Sturdy yet light. Cant wait to use them and probably will around home just to see how they do. Great price for a good product!!

  27. Thomas

    Great Poles! Great Customer Service

I’m a little older and just started hiking and knew I was going to need some help. Even my friend (who is younger needed to use them and it helped). They’re very sturdy but light weight. Only complaint is I ran the pole right though one of the attachments for it. Emailed customer service though and they sent me a new one so not a big complaint!

  28. J. Martinez

    Great compact pole set!

Loved the poles. They fit nicely in my small daypack so I could take them out when I needed them. They saved my joints. They were very easy for me to set up and to put away. I don’t have any big complaints but they had a bit of flex on steep decent but were fine. I weigh 200 pounds so depending, you might want a stiffer pole. I can endorse this pole set.

  29. Dr. Watson

    Great poles

Poles worked well for my wife and me on several moderate to slightly difficult hikes. They collapse nicely and fit into my backpack. They come with three different types of tips. The standard tip worked best for us on dirt, gravel, and rock. Unfortunately the tips fell off two of the poles, however I was able to easily order replacements and this time glued them on and they haven’t fallen off.

    Great for big guy!

I bought 2 trekking poles, one for me and one for my husband. We have used them and highly recommend them. He is a big guy (6′ and 280 lbs) and has bad knees. He felt sure footed and stable. He probably would not have been able to do the hike had it not been for this pole.

  31. Jess

    Works great

Took these hiking at the Grand Canyon in winter. They were super useful and sturdy. Lost one of the attachments and the seller replaced it for free. Very happy with purchase!

  32. karen

Fits great in my carry on suitcase

They are very compact and each one has a nice carrying case. At their shortest setting they’re just a little bit longer than I prefer, but the advantage of being able to put them together without any adjustment makes it a good trade off. I’m 5’3″ tall. I took them on a 7 day trip through Utah’s national parks and they were great. Very lightweight if you need to carry them in your backpack for part of the hike.

  33. RO

    Great walking sticks

I love this poles! They are sturdy and fold up for any kind of travel or just to keep stored in your vehicle for that spontaneous hike when you past that interesting trail. The poles are sturdy and after the first use, they were easy to assemble. They come with various tips and a great bag. For this great price you get two!!!! I have recommended this product and seller several times!

  34. Tom G

    Practical and functional

Compact when not in use (comes with carrying bag for both poles) has multiple tips for different surfaces. Goes together like a shock pole on a tent. Clasp at base of handle loosens to adjust height.

  36. Rob Of The North

    Strong and dependable

I bought these prior to a trip to Washington, where I put ~10 miles on them between two hikes. The locking mechanism does take a couple uses to become accustomed to, but it works and is stable.Upon returning home (VT and NH), I have used them on a few more hikes. I now have about 25-30 miles on them and they keep going strong. They do not flex more than expected and the joints are solid. While they are certainly heavier than carbon fiber models, these are reasonable on weight and I have not had any problems using them over several miles. The paint has gotten quite chipped and dinged up, but that adds character.

Easy to collapse and travel with these lightweight poles

We’ve always had non-collapsible poles which were inconvenience to travel with especially when flying. We bought two sets of these new poles and found them easy to use and easy to collapse when done. We’ve hiked multiple trails in Colorado and much harder surfaces in Moab.Already recommended to a friend and they are looking forward to using them.

  38. Chloe

    Honest specs here!

Why people need collapsible trekking poles? because they hate heavy and giant size of conventional poles. Therefore, the specs of weight and folded length is very important. For this item, the measured weight each pole without the tip is 9.5 oz and is 10.05 oz with a simple tip. The folded length is 14 inch when folded into 3 sections and is only 13 inch when into 4 sections (if you pull out the inner tube of the handle section). I think its weight is about the average of 7075 but the folded length at 13~14 inch is quite good for storage.

Strong enough for Mt. St. Helen’s summit hike

I bought these to hike Mount St. Helen’s, and they lasted through the boulders and ash pumice both on the way up and on the way down! Helped save my knees from a lot of pain on the way down, and there’s no way I would have made it up the last mile without using them on the way up! They were easy to collapse and attach to my backpack when they weren’t needed. I put these through a lot, and since then they’ve been used for easy hikes through parks and forests.

  40. Ritzieim

Easy set up and for most terrains

The poles were easy to asssemble and came with diff tips for diff terrains. I was able to adjust the heights easily as well. Light-weight but feel sturdy.

  41. Laura

    They don’t stink!!!

Eureka! I was expecting these to smell funny but they dont at all which is a huge relief. These are a bit wanky trying to fold, especially if you’re trying to walk. I just takes some practice though! I love the color and how light weight these are! I have arthritis and used this as Disney World: Epcot and I made it all the way without issue! I was skeptical how much a walking stick would help my endurance and it worked wonders!

  42. Kathleen Mills

    Convenience Plus

I bought these pole to us mainly for travel. They are compact, easy to put together and adjust to height. I will probably use these for weekend hikes as well since they are sturdy, well made and easy to carry. They came with 2 nylon and mesh cases, but they fit into one case. They also have different tips. I really like these poles and would use them for any walking or hiking situation.

  43. Happy Buyer

    Read the instructions!

I processed the return after not be able to figure out how to get the poles stabilized, I then decided to calm down and re-read the very simple instructions that came with the package, soon I realized that the trick is in the first few lines, there are 5 sections, not 4, or less. The poles will work just fine for me now I know how to get them to work, so I decided to keep them. Hope this helps if anyone has the same frustrations.

  44. Ena

Lightweight and great to adjust for perfect height.

I use a hiking stick. When I go out with my son, but if I want to go out by myself these sticks are absolutely perfect. I love all the attachments depending on the weather. I used them first time yesterday and it was great and it’s also a good way to use your arms. Thank you!

Great trekking poles. If short go a size down.

I love my trekking poles. They have come in so handy in many a hike.Easy to assemble. Mine came with directions.Lightweight.Folds up small enough for a day pack.Did I mention lightweight.I usually use one pole. Ordered these in case I needed two or my husband wanted to use one.CONS this specific pair of poles are the right height for me at 5’6 1/2″. If they adjusted a little more down would be great too.If you are a smidgen shorter than this, I would suggest looking into purchasing a pair of trekking poles for a lower height.Sturdy, light, folds up small to go in my pack, nice quality.I am glad I bought these.

Good value and going strong 6 months later!

I use these poles for local hikes in the Santa Monica mountains on a pretty regular basis and they hold up really well. I got them when my knees were giving me some trouble, and they provided excellent relief. My knees are better, but i still like using the poles for steeper portions of my hikes. They fold pretty compactly so i can carry them in my backpack when not needed, they extend smoothly and are sturdy in giving me support when required. I am very happy with my purchase and have recommended these to friends as well.

  48. gucci

    Easy and travel friendly

These poles have been great and made a 14 mile hike just a bit easier. They are easy to use and adjust and they fit into a carry on! The only downside is I lost one of the tips already, but since it came with multiple I just put another one on. I would purchase again.

Perfect size for travel and easy to assemble.

I’ve used these trekking poles several times now. They easily fit in a carry-on suitcase and can be assembled in seconds. Once assembled I have found then no different than two piece trekking poles in regards to strength, and they are light and the hand grips are comfortable. If you are looking for trekking poles you can pack for a trip, I highly recommend these.

  50. Zach

    Light and good quality

The hiking poles are light and strong with very high quality. They are easy to carry. It comes with two extra pole heads which make the poles usable on regular road, muddy road, grass or snow. The length can be adjusted a little bid.

  51. Dale R

Nice collapsible hiking sticks great for travel.

We ordered these for a trip to the Grand Canyon, we were concerned about flying with poles. This turned out to be a non-issue, we had them folded and in our carryon back packs no problem with TSA. They worked well and we were happy when we did not need they were easy to collapse. Nice, light weight, worked fine hiking. Happy with purchase. Had no issues that others have mentioned. Recommend.

  52. Robert J. Wydra, Jr.

    Great poles!

I did a lot of research on trekking poles and was extremely satisfied with these poles. I bought 4 sets, 1 for each of our family members for a trip to 5 national parks in Utah. These poles are really light weight and sturdy. Once you figure out the release button these are really easy to set up and use. The price point was great for the quality.

    AwESoMe

AwESoMe product. My knees and hips have been a problem for years now. Pain has stopped me from hiking and walking. But arthroscopic surgery and PT have improved my capabilities. I wanted to go to the Smokies and do some light hiking and I ordered these. They were marvelous. I could do up to 18000 steps on the trails. Thank you I feel I have some life back. Am ordering a set for a relative in similar situation.
